On Tuesday, March 9 retired police mount "Chelsea" was laid to rest at her home in Clayton. Chelsea and her brother "Wellington" were the first draft horses to serve with the New Castle County Police Mounted Unit. Chelsea worked as a police horse for approximately 12 years prior to being retired.
